Aims of the Project
The aims of the project are to :
(i) provide a cross-curriculum project for North Chadderton School in which all pupils and staff can make contributions;
(ii) provide opportunities to gain further experience in the use of ICT, within the context of an educational project;
(iii) use ICT in the classroom, or at home, to enhance and enrich the learning process and in the development of teaching and learning styles.
(iv) acquire greater knowledge and understanding of another country, through a study of its people, its history, geography and geology, science and technology, arts, economics, cultural diversity, and languages.
(vi) extend the power of communication by the use of modern communications technology, through the use of the internet and e-mail.
(vii) share ideas, knowledge and understanding between other departments, and other schools.
