Amazing Places : Canyon de Chelly , Az

The beauty of the two deep sandstone canyons rival those of of the Grand Canyon.  They are still occupied by Navajo Indians, and there is ample evidence, by the remaining ruins, of occupation by Indians over a period of 2000 years.  The canyon is entirely owned by the Navajo Nation, and visitors can only be taken into the canyon by guided tours.  Visitors can still view evidence of farming on the canyon bottoms. One of them most spectacular views is of the sandstone structure Spider Rock.

The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary (MBNMS) is a protected marine area along the central California coast, ranging from Marin County to Cambria. It covers a shoreline of 444 km in length, and over 13727 square km of ocean.

Located 35 miles East of Flagstaff, and a 5 mile drive off Interstate highway I-40, the Barringer Meteorite Crater, as it is known in the scientific community, is one of the best preserved craters on Earth since its formation approximately 50000 years ago.
