Comments: I was a pupil here from 1988 to 1996, and I'm now at University studying Physics. Hello to all the teachers there who know me; I hope that you're all keeping well and making good use of the new building that I never got to use except in my exams....does that count? I don't think it does! Just a couple of messages for Dr. Overy, Mr. Winslow and Dr. Kearns of the Physics department, and Mr. Howarth and Mrs.Armstrong from Maths: Firstly, you never told me that University Physics is so different from A-Level (its much harder), and secondly, I can safely say that doing Further Maths has saved my bacon as far as the Maths here is concerned! Other than that, I'm having a whale of a time, and I'll probably pop in and see you some time! Bye.....

I graduated from "Chaddy Grammar" in 1964 and worked as a mechanic at Oldham Motor Co until 1968 when I emigrated to Canada. After four years mechanic-ing I changed jobs to Firefighting and have been doing this for 23 years now. I worked up to the rank of Captain.
